101st Birthday Celebrations at Chamberlain
Birthdays are always special and celebrated as such at Elder Homes, but when you reach 101...... That`s amazing!!
One of our residents enjoyed this milestone birthday with her family and friends today. The picture is of the card given by the staff. The picture on the card was not important to this lady as her sight is not as good as it once was, however the expression of surprise on her face when the card played `Happy Birthday` to her when she opened it was priceless!
It got us reflecting on the huge changes she, and our other residents must have seen in their life-times as this was the first card that plays to you that this lady had ever seen!
