A welcome return from distant shores
We were very honoured to host a second visit from one of the delegates who visited Cluny Lodge last year, all the way from Japan - along with his wife and their interpreter.
Mr Seiji is the Chairman of Ao. Kage. En in Yamaguchi (near Hiroshima) and was keen to find out more in depth about care in Scotland as nursing homes have only really recently been developing in Japan.
We were joined by one of our residents for part of the afternoon as her grandson lives in Japan. She was able to show Mr and Mrs Seiji pictures sent by her grandson and speak to them about Japan. Something they all enjoyed, along with the lovely spread!
