AFTERNOON CONCERT
Here are some photos from our afternoon on the Bo`Ness steam train!
I am taking this chance to mention that, this afternoon some of the residents from Cluny Lodge attended a lunchtime concert as part of the Edinburgh Fringe, at Morningside Parish Church; the concert was in aid of a music scholarship pun by the parish.
Today`s concert was directed by Mr Morley Whitehead, the choirmaster and organist for the Morningside Parish Church; performing for the residents were choral scholars, past and present. The ensemble consisted of solo performances from very talented soprano and tenor singers, who were accompained by equally talented musicians. They performed music by Bach, Schubert and many more - the residents were mezmerized by each performance, applauding with enthusiasm; a wonderful afterrnoon!
