An afternoon concert with MacLaren
Cluny Lodge were most grateful to Alexander MacLaren and his Clarinet teacher Pamela Turley giving of their time to play for us this afternoon.
Alexander is the grandson of one of Cluny`s residents and he, along with his sisters, has made her a VERY proud grandmother.
Alexander took up the Clarinet only 2 years ago, after playing Viola. Both Clarinet and base Clarinet were used today with many popular pieces getting our feet tapping - including a spectacular version of the theme tune to `Poirot`.
It really was a very special afternoon for all of us, but particularly Alexander and his family.
