Arts and crafts
Lovely as it is to have concerts, outings and parties, sometimes it`s really rewarding to sit quietly and relax. This is the purpose of our Arts and Crafts afternoons and these are really well attended.
There is usually some relaxing background classical music and always tea and cake! The crafts vary from card making to knitting or jewellery making and the art from water colour to pencil drawings.
We feel it is important to help people maintain their hobbies and interests while staying at Elder Homes as well as develop and discover new skills - you are really never too old to learn!
