BREAKING NEWS.....
…..As of 10.09.22 staff and visitors will no longer be required to routinely test prior to coming in, or wear masks!
For many this is a welcome relief and another step back to ‘normality’. We are aware however, that for others it may be concerning and be a bit daunting.
For this reason, we are asking residents and relatives if they are happy for personal care to be carried out without a mask. We are also making sure that all relatives and staff know that they can still wear masks if they would prefer to.
Please do not hesitate to ask any of the staff if you have specific questions.
The new guidelines can be found here: www.gov.scot/face-masks-social-care and still specify vaccinations, ventilation and space as the 3 major ways of preventing infection spread. We would also add hand washing!
