Burn's Supper at Chamberlain
What a start to the Burn`s celebrations at Elder Homes! Hamish Aitken from George Watson`s piping in the Haggis then our own Marion Durie reciting `Ode to a Haggis` - `Fair fa` your honest, sonsie face, Great chieftain o the puddin`-race....`
This was followed by a wonderful Haggis meal accompanied by entertainment from Sarah Laing.
We were then treated to a great rendition of `Tae a moose` from Dr Mercer, who had also spoken the `Selkirk Grace` before the meal. A great evening and one Rabbie himself would have fair enjoyed!
