Care Home Support Team visits
Chamberlain and Cluny Lodge were visited at different times in the previous few weeks by the Care Home Support Team, as part of the COVID team. This is a Government initiative with the NHS to help support care homes.Their most recent visit being at Chamberlain last week, which went really well.
Over their 2 visits, they were impressed with the openness of the staff and the systems in place for protecting both residents and staff. The team checked the knowledge and practices of the staff in relation to using PPE and were very complimentary about their practices. In fact they said they would take some of the good ideas and share them with other homes they visit!
