Chamberlain wooed by wonderful harp player
Last Friday we all gathered at Chamberlain Rd for a very special concert.
Back by popular demand Margaret Knight entertained us for a third time...
It was so touching to see several residents deeply entranced as she lightly picked and flowed over the strings while singing some of our most favoured melodies, many of which she had arranged herself for specific occasions. We were treated to her own version of a Maori Love Song which had us all by the heart strings and which she was singing at a wedding the following day. Very moving concert.
