Fair fa' your honest, sonsie face Great chieftain O' puddin- race!
The residents of both Chamberlain and Cluny Lodge celebrated Burn`s "Night"very differently this year, for a start we had a Burns lunch and although we had to adhere to current shielding and social distancing measures, staff helped residents honour Scotland`s famous son in the traditional way. Chefs prepared a wonderful Burn`s lunch of Scotch broth, Haggis, tatties and neeps with a whisky sauce followed by Cranachan. Those residents of Chamberlain were able to come together in the dinning room, which was decorated with tartan and staff played Burns poems and music in the background. For those in Cluny Lodge individual trays where prepared with tartan trims, Burns music played in the hallways and the Cluny Portable Bar ensured, like our friends in Chamberlain, everyone had a tipple of choice to raise a toast to the author of the Great chieftain o` the puddin- race !
