Festive Fizz
Our Champagne tasting evening entitled `Festive fizz` was a `bubbling` success. Hosted by Simon Barclay, joined by his wife and son. Various friuts (highlighted in the photo) and wine were also consumed.
This interesting (and very tasty) presentation threw the spotlight on the production and origin of this Celebratory drink. It really was fascinating and we are grateful to Simon for giving of his time.
We were also joined by Eileen and Penny from the Council for Music in Hospitals. This is a great charity that provides professional musicians to care homes and hospitals for a fraction of the price they would usually charge. The ladies were keen to see what a night at Elder Homes entailed and were not disappointed.
