Girl Guides at Christmas
The Girl Guide association has been going for many years and we were pleased to welcome Morningside Guides in to Cluny this evening to sing Carols.
It was lovely to see young and old joining together to sing these well-loved classics, both in a group setting then for a few residents who were unable to come down to join us.
Many of our residents belonged to the guide and scout association however one lady in particular used to be Commissioner for Lanarkshire Girl Guides. This lady was thrilled to see many young girls taking their first Promise and shook hands whilst presenting them with their badge - a really special moment, I’m sure you will agree.
