Keeping up with Nurse Revalidation
As we employ registered nurses at Elder Homes, we are keen to ensure they are well supported.
In light of the recent introduction of Revalidation by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), we invited librarian Jennifer Underwood from RCN (Royal College of Nursing) to explain about the most effective, up to date and relevant websites Nurses can access to gain information for Revalidation.
All nurses are required to register with the NMC and as part of this they have to show that they are keeping up to date and have undertaken relevant, recent training, including self directed study in various subject areas.
We feel, by helping our Registered staff to do this, we can ensure our residents get even better care.
