More than one way to talk!
This is another way of communicating that we are using more of at Elder Homes. They are called `Talking Mats` and allow people who may be compromised in their communications, to be able to express themselves more fully.
Many people can`t speak claerly or feel they `don`t like to say` if they like or don`t like something. These mats give each person the ability to say what they realy like, don`t like or aren`t bothered about. This ten opens the way for staff to find out more about the person and help them to achieve things they may wish to but have been unable to express before.
