NAPPI centre of Excellence
After a 3 year association with NAPPI (Non-abusive Physchological and Physical Interventions) UK, Elder Homes has been awarded a Centre of Excellence Award. At her recent NAPPI training update, Cheryl Henderson, our Dementia and Education co-ordinator accpeted the award on behalf of Elder Homes.
This is a great asset to Elder Homes as it demonstrates the quality of teaching and documentation supported by NAPPI, who adhere to the BILD code of conduct. (British Institute of Learning Difficulties) This is the only body that support and closely monitor any physical self protection skills.
As with all our courses, we would actively encourage Relatives and friends to speak to Cheryl for more information or to arrange to attend.
