Norovirus Update
We are pleased to advise that as of this morning there have been no symptoms of the virus for a full 72 hours now. This is the magic number to reach to declare the outbreak over. Now comes the disinfection process which is vital. There is a strict protocol to follow and each room has to be "deep cleaned" as well as all the public areas. Public Health advise that until all areas have been through the disinfection process we should remain closed for visiting. Each bedroom takes approximately 2 hours to complete-the housekeeping staff are working flat out and doing overtime to hasten completion and we thank them for that. We hope to be able to re-open to visitors on Friday 11th November and gradually get back to normal. We are aware that this has been a difficult and distressing time for everyone and would like to say thank you for your support and understanding.
