Norovirus Update
Keeping fingers and toes crossed as writing this but we think we are nearly at the end of the outbreak. All being well we will be back to normal for visiting and social gatherings from Sunday 20th November.
This has been an extremely difficult time for everyone involved,residents,relatives,visitors and all staff from all departments within the home have been fantastic despite the shortages of staff due to the virus. Life has been turned upside down for everyone and we all long for normality now. The Health Protection Team have been a great support throughout and feel that we may have been the victims of 2 seperate outbreaks within the home,which is why it seems to have dragged on for so long.
Will do a last (hopefully!) update on the situation on Monday 21st and hope things remain stable until then.
