Nutcracker Ballet
An afternoon at the ballet was very much enjoyed today, by a group of ladies from Elder Homes.
This was the second Elder Homes outing to see this production at the Festival theatre, and everyone who went thoroughly enjoyed it. The cast were from Scottish Ballet and had many younger dancers in the performance, who were excellent. There were also many aspiring ballet dancers in the audience, who also kept us entertained in the interval.
The music was particularly good. It turned out that one of the musicians was the daughter of one of Cluny residents - as she commented, `it is a small world`!
