RATHO BARGE
Some of the residents of chamberlain Nursing Home enjoyed afternoon tea on a canal barge. Their journey started at Ratho at the west of Edinburgh, cruising along to Almondell Aquaduct then back to Ratho. Although the afternoons July weather wasn`t to favourable, the rain brought life to the surrounding countryside after a rather but very much enjoyed hot and dry June.
