Raffia work
A new skill is something we don`t always associate with older people, we sometimes just assume they have tried all they want to. However a wise lady of 96 once said to me `I didn`t know I was artistic as I have never had the opportunity before`.
For this reason we try to encourage residents to have a go at something new .... Today it was raffia work! We were so impressed with the skills they picked up so quickly and they were delighted with their `Henley regatta` boaters. Bring on the sunshine!
