Relatives meeting for Elder Homes Care Homes, Edinburgh
Against a backdrop of sun and the garden coming into full bloom, saw Elder Homes most recent relative`s meeting.
This was open to all friends, relatives and residents of both homes and took place at Cluny Lodge. All Elder Home`s managers were available and we were delighted to be joined by Liz Barker from Marie Curie who spoke about her role and her work with Elder Homes. This work is both with specific residents and the team as a whole, ensuring residents, if required, have all they need as their condition progresses.
There was much informal discussion and a lovely buffet had been provided, ensuring that, whilst being kept up to date generally, people could also discuss their individual relative`s needs with staff.
