Many of us here at Elder Homes enjoy a spot of `retail` therapy, including many of the residents.
Whilst some residents head off to the shops themselves, and others with family and friends, there are some who, for various reasons, are unable to do this.
As well as taking some of the minibus outings to places for residents to shop, Elder Homes have a couple of `internal options`, to ensure those who want to are still able to shop for themselves.
These include a well-stocked sweet trolley, toiletries and access to various books, toys and games, brought in by outside companies. This ensures that anyone who wishes to can continue to be as independent as possible, even in their shopping habits.
