Stundent nurses at Elder Homes Edinburgh
Meet our two new Student Nurses - Vida and Imogen.
We are delighted that this new venture for Elder Homes Ltd has gone so well. We are working with Napier University and our own, trained Mentors, to provide Practice Placements for Student Nurses at both Chamberlain and Cluny Lodge.
This is an important part of the Student Nurse training where Students get a chance to learn about personal care, medication, communication, life limiting conditions and also see the positive side of work with in a care home.
Vida and Imogen are the last students for this year, however we would like to wish all of them the very best for their futures, including their Education Facilitator Heather Lyle who is relocating to Glasgow and will be missed.
