Talking mats at Elder Homes
Talking mats are a great way of encouraging conversation or assisting those who are not able to communicate easily, to let us know their preferences, thoughts and wishes.
This mat was facilitated by one of our Social and Leisure staff, Pat. By allowing the residents time and privacy, they are able to share their thoughts on what matters to them. This enables us to ensure that the care we give is suited directly to the individual.
