The Day Two little Ponies Came To Visit
Residents and staff were absolutely amazed and delighted to see two miniature Shetland ponies trotting through the front door of Cluny Lodge - six year old Wilson and two year old Eduardo, therapy ponies.
Both ponies were very calm and not in the slightest bit fazed by the excitement they had generated as they trotted around with their owners John and Elaine, meeting each and every resident individually.
Some of our frailer residents were treated to a personal visit in their rooms, once again to their delight and surprise.
The residents patted and hugged these little ponies, full of admiration and affection.
One of our residents who - walking along the hallway, minding her own business - was amazed to be greeted by Wilson trotting along towards her; only just recovering from this shock, she then saw Eduardo coming to say hello too!
There are just no words to adequately describe the looks of delight and the expressions of happiness these two little fellas brought to the residents of Cluny Lodge today.
