The Listening Chair
The Listening CHAIR is some research Elder Homes have been involved with, in collaboration with Napier University. It has been looking at what motivates staff to stay working somewhere and what else would help them in their role.
Today saw the feedback of the findings in the form of some really fun activities. These included anonymous voice recordings, using cartoon-like animation and choosing which areas might have the biggest impact on staff.
We were joined by many relatives and residents, along with the research team from Napier University, for a really interesting and different afternoon.
